MC² Professional Care Services provides licensed residential mental health support in a structured, community-based setting. Our services promote stability, safety, and daily functioning for adults living with mental health challenges.

Residential Mental Health Services

We operate licensed residential group homes that provide 24-hour supervised support within a structured environment.

Residential services include:

  • 24-hour supervision and structured support

  • Assistance with activities of daily living

  • Medication support as prescribed

  • Safety monitoring and routine accountability

  • Support with community integration

1915(i) Home & Community-Based Services

MC² Professional Care Services supports individuals authorized for 1915(i) Home and Community-Based Services. These services focus on 1:1 skill development, community living support, and increasing independence in alignment with approved service plans. 1915(i) services are delivered in coordination with Managed Care Organizations and care teams and are provided in accordance with authorized service hours and regulatory requirements.

PCS – Personal Care Services

MC² Professional Care Services provides and bills for Personal Care Services (PCS) as authorized through North Carolina Medicaid. PCS is approved through the Independent Assessment process under NC Medicaid and links eligible individuals and families to long-term services and supports. When authorized, PCS supports assistance with:

  • Personal hygiene and grooming

  • Mobility and transfer assistance

  • Eating and daily living activities

  • Functional support based on assessed needs

PCS is delivered in accordance with the approved assessment and plan of care and is provided directly by MC² Professional Care Services staff, not through third-party agencies.

Clinical Collaboration & Care Coordination

MC² Professional Care Services collaborates with licensed medical and behavioral health providers to support continuity of care for residents. We maintain an established relationship with a contracted Nurse Practitioner for psychiatric medication management and oversight as appropriate. All prescribing and medical services are provided by independent licensed professionals and coordinated in alignment with each resident’s approved service plan.

We work closely with Managed Care Organizations, care coordinators, guardians, and provider teams to ensure services are delivered in alignment with approved service plans and regulatory standards.

Service Scope

MC² Professional Care Services is a residential provider and does not offer emergency services, inpatient medical treatment, or outpatient clinical therapy. Individuals requiring crisis intervention are supported through coordination with appropriate emergency and external providers.
